Gelt Bag



What you need:

• 6” x 4” piece of navy blue felt
• 6” x 6” piece of white felt
• ½” x 6” strip of light blue felt
• 6 flat wooden circles
• Gold craft paint
• White craft glue
• Scissors

Directions:

1. Paint the wood circles with gold paint and set aside to dry.
2. Fold navy blue piece of felt in half to form the bag. Pipe glue up both sides, placing the light blue strip in the open corners of the felt. Press sides together and let dry.
3. Cut out two triangles from white felt, triangles should be small enough to fit on the front of the felt bag, about 1.5-2” in width. Cut the centers of the triangles out as well.
4. Glue one triangle, point side up, to the front of the blue bag. Glue the other triangle, point side down, on top of the first triangle, creating the Star of David.
5. Fill bag with gold painted circles (coins).
