This is a very easy craft that your kids will love.
What you need:
- Toilet paper rolls
- Markers
- Red, Orange and Yellow construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue or tape
- Your kids hands
Instructions:
- Have your child place their hand on a piece of colored construction paper and you or your child trace around their hand a couple times on each sheet of paper depending on how many of these turkeys you want to make. I made 3 hands on each sheet and lines up two pages to save time and effort on cutting. This makes 6 hands of each color so you should have 18 hands in.
- Cut out the hands, Mom or Dad might need to do this if your kids are too young.
- Glue or tape 3 to 4 hands together fanned out as feathers, alternating colors.
- Then attach 3 to 2 hands in front of the hands you just did.
- Have your child draw a turkey face onto the T.P. roll and and cut a triangular slit to make the beak.
- Glue or tape the hands to the back of the T.P. roll and you're done
These make very cute napkin or silverware holders at your Thanksgiving table or just as centerpieces.
