What you need:
- Red, Yellow and orange construction paper. (or any other color you would like to use)
- Glue
- Ribbon
- Artificial leaves (optional)
- Glitter (optional)
- First you are going to want to have your child/ren trace their hand on the construction paper multiple times. You are going to need 6 hands for each of the 3 colors. 18 hands in all.
- After you have all of the hands cut out, without gluing, place 9 of the hands in a circle to figure out which position will fit best. then lay the other 9 in a tighter circle on the front of the back 9. Once you are sure about the placement, glue your hands together.
- Glue your ribbon in a loop on the backside of the wreath and let dry. This will be how you hang your wreath.
- After the ribbon loop has dried flip the wreath over and tie a bow with your ribbon to glue at the top (this is if you are not using artificial leaves) If you are using artificial leaves, glue 2 pieces of ribbon as shown in the picture then glue (glue gun works best) your artificial leaves to the front.
- Decorate with glitter, stickers or let your children color each hand. Or leave it the way it is, either way is great.
- Let dry and hang your wreath.
