Handy Thanksgiving Wreath

This is a very cute wreath that is very easy to make.

What you need:
  • Red, Yellow and orange construction paper. (or any other color you would like to use)
  • Glue
  • Ribbon
  • Artificial leaves (optional)
  • Glitter (optional)
Instructions:

  1. First you are going to want to have your child/ren trace their hand on the construction paper multiple times. You are going to need 6 hands for each of the 3 colors. 18 hands in all.
  2. After you have all of the hands cut out, without gluing, place 9 of the hands in a circle to figure out which position will fit best. then lay the other 9 in a tighter circle on the front of the back 9. Once you are sure about the placement, glue your hands together.
  3. Glue your ribbon in a loop on the backside of the wreath and let dry. This will be how you hang your wreath.
  4. After the ribbon loop has dried flip the wreath over and tie a bow with your ribbon to glue at the top (this is if you are not using artificial leaves) If you are using artificial leaves, glue 2 pieces of ribbon as shown in the picture then glue (glue gun works best) your artificial leaves to the front.
  5. Decorate with glitter, stickers or let your children color each hand. Or leave it the way it is, either way is great.
  6. Let dry and hang your wreath.
